The Legion of Discord marches to WAR!

It has been a long standing tradition within our midst that most are sceptics about an upcoming game. While some games are 'casual' by nature, meaning there is no real guild structure nor guild involvement in general, other games have a resounding feel of 'doing if for the good of the guild'. I am of course talking about MMOs. We are a relatively old guild in that we started with World of Warcraft, we began our trek through the spiderweb that is MMO at the early stages of WoW and have crossed paths with many other games in between then and now.

Throughout our history we've seen MMO's come and go.. we've seen members quitting WoW for another MMO and then scuttering back when it sorted out to be utter crap. Age of Conan was a big thing for us.. most of us had already given up on WoW and AoC came as a blessing.. as a proverbial angel from the heavens. What a load of horseshit that turned out to be. Many of our members will never look at other MMOs the same. AoC truly scarred some souls. We fear that might be the case with Warhammer Online. Several of our members were in the Closed Beta and even more will be able to join in the Open Beta, but however wonderful each one says the game feels like, there is the sense of impending doom behind every word uttered in favour of WAR. We fear WAR. As should any sensible person infact, but I really do mean the game. This game could be a place of wonderous adventures and a stepping stone for our guild to flourish once more, but it could mean so many horrible letdowns that it could well destroy us. Maybe I am being overly dramatic.. maybe this is not the great crossroad for our guild.. but I hope it is.. because I believe in WAR.
