Legion of Discord's history goes back to fall 2006 when a Finnish guild called 'Northrend' was formed on a newly opened 'World of Warcraft' PvP-RP server 'Defias Brotherhood'. We were a semi-casual guild that mainly focused on PvE (ZG, AQ, MC, BWL, Karazhan), and we even got a few Horde- and server first kills under our belt.

In addition to virtual world events we also had a couple of real life guild meetings, which were very popular amongst our members. Full raid of thirsty Finns met under the roof of our guild master of the time to get to know their fellow guild mates and have fun. Many of our members knew each other beforehand in real life, but new friendships were also formed. Northrend's time came to an end in spring 2007 when several members grew tired of World of Warcraft and decided to say goodbye to the game. The remaining members continued their adventures in other guilds. Many still wanted to keep in touch with their old guild mates and join them in other games.

As Warhammer Online's release came closer, we noticed that many of our old members were interested in the game. That encouraged us to reform our guild under a new name, 'Legion of Discord'. We will continue our tradition as a Finnish guild where experienced and mature Finnish gamers can come together and take part in organized guild play. Hopefully we will have many successful years of spreading fear and destruction among our enemies.
